Ariana Grande took to social media to jokingly react to an old meme poking fun at her penchant for oversized hoodies amid growing fears of a coronavirus pandemic.

On Thursday (March 5), Paper reposted the viral "Ariana Grande washing hands" meme on Instagram with the caption "Using this iconic video as a friendly reminder to wash! your! f--king! hands!" (In the clip, the pop star's sleeves get drenched as she tries to wash her hands while they're covered by one of her favorite gigantic sweatshirts.)

Grande fired back in the comments section of the post, writing, "hate u all" while clearly taking the resurrected joke in stride.

For the record, the meme -- which has been floating around the internet since 2019 -- does indeed serve as a good reminder of the most effective way to combat the spread of novel coronavirus: washing your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds.

Check out the hilarious meme and Ari's clapback below.
