In one of her most candid interviews yet, Demi Lovato sat down with Zane Lowe on Apple Music's Beats 1 ahead of her upcoming Grammys performance to chat about everything that's gone down in the past two years.
The singer will be making her long-awaited return to music at the award show, where she'll be performing a new song called "Anyone." She told Lowe that the song was written and recorded just four days before her July 2018 overdose and subsequent hospitalization.
“I wish I could go back in time and help that version of myself," she said about listening to the song now. “If I ever come back, I want to sing this song,” Lovato recalled thinking during her stay at the hospital.
