Jenny Lewis performs at the Austin City Limits Music Festival on Oct. 11, 2019 at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas.

By now you've probably read all the hot takes about the nominations for the 2020 Academy Awards that were announced on Monday (Jan. 13). But have you read an expertly crafted poem from a beloved singer/songwriter enumerating her many thoughts on the snubs and sensational calls?

Behold, Jenny Lewis' mega haiku-like sizzling take, which the "Red Bull & Hennessy" singer shared just hours after the noms were revealed, illuminating her love of Adam Sandler and Greta Gerwig, Lupita Nyong'o, Awkwafina and Marriage Story director Noah Baumbach.

"oscar noms / what the flip? / where are @AdamSandler / & greta gerwig? / lupita, @awkwafina / safdie bros / noah’s the Baum," she wrote, adding that she will not be watching the 92nd annual Oscars on Feb. 9. Instead,  she'll be watching the OnCinema Oscars special from her pal comedian/singer Tim Heidecker, who appeared in the star-studded "Red Bull" video.
