Rihanna attends the launch of her first visual autobiography, "Rihanna" at Guggenheim Museum on Oct. 11, 2019 in New York City.

Rihanna just loves teasing her fans.

On Sunday (Dec. 22), the superstar singer and fashion mogul shared a short video on Instagram that would seemingly give fans a glimpse into the sound of her upcoming ninth album.

"Update: me listening to R9 by myself and refusing to release it," RiRi captioned the clip, which shows a small white dog hilariously bouncing its head to House of Pain's classic hit "Jump Around."

While certainly entertaining and cute, the IG video did not feature any new music from Rihanna or a possible release date for her forthcoming album. So the wait continues.

In December 2018, a fan asked Rihanna in an Instagram comment when her next album would arrive. "2019," the singer replied. Instead of releasing the follow-up to 2016’s Anti, though, she signed a worldwide deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing and stayed busy with her Fenty line (including tapping fellow artists Normani and Tinashe as brand ambassadors).

A long-promised project influenced by her Caribbean roots still has yet to materialize, extending the longest album drought of Rihanna’s career.

In the meantime, watch this hilarious House of Pain-loving pup in the clip below.
