Lizzo (R) attends a basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Minnesota Timberwolves at Staples Center on Dec. 8, 2019 in Los Angeles.

It ain't Lizzo's fault that she was out there gettin' loose at a Lakers game on Sunday night when her song "Juice" came on. So when all the critics came to play about her cut-out dress showing off her thong, the "Truth Hurts" singer let them know what she thought about their negative remarks about her body and her choices.

"Who I am and the essence of me and the things that I choose to do as a grown-ass woman can inspire you to do the same," she said in an Instagram Live video. "You don't have to be like me -- you need to be like you. And never, ever let somebody stop you or shame you from being yourself."

She assured the haters that "criticism has no stake in my life" in comparison to all the love she gets. And in typical Lizzo fashion, all she wants to do is "spread that love and spread these cheeks."

She continued to discuss body positivity: "I'm shocking because you've never seen in a long time a body like mine doing whatever it wants to do and dressing the way that it dresses and moving the way that it moves."

Check out her cheeky response below.
