Taylor Swift celebrated her best original song nomination at the 2020 Golden Globes on social media Monday morning (Dec. 9).

"I woke up today to the news that 'Beautiful Ghosts' is nominated for a Golden Globe - it's so cool that one of the most fun, fulfilling creative experiences I've ever had is being honored in this way by the HFPA," the superstar tweeted, referencing the new song she wrote with Andrew Lloyd Webber for the upcoming big screen adaptation of Cats.

In a separate tweet, Swift -- who plays the flirtatious Bombalurina in the film -- also opened up about how her time on set provided the creative spark for what eventually became "Beautiful Ghosts."

"I ended up spending many days on set watching the other performers do their scenes," she tweeted. "Watching the character Victoria, played by Frankie Hayward inspired me so much and 'Beautiful Ghosts' was the result. Congrats to my co-writer and buddy 4 life @OfficialALW. This is just purrfect."

The nod for her contribution to the Cats soundtrack marks Swift's third original song nomination at the awards show, following back-to-back noms in for "Safe and Sound" (from The Hunger Games) in 2013 and "Sweeter Than Fiction" (from One Chance) the following year.
