Adam Levine pranks L.A. drivers on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

If Adam Levine ever decides to drop his career as a rock star, he may have a promising future as a parking enforcement officer.

To help promote Maroon 5's upcoming North American tour, Levine recently took to the busy streets of Los Angeles disguised as a "Meter Man" to prank drivers into thinking they were getting parking tickets. The hilarious outing appeared as a recent segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

"We thought it would be fun for Adam to give out concert tickets disguised as parking tickets with Adam disguised as parking enforcement," Kimmel says while introducing the clip.

Meanwhile, Maroon 5 has announced dates for their upcoming North American amphitheater tour, which begins May 30 in Chula Vista, Calif. Special guests on the trek include Leon Bridges (select dates) and Meghan Trainor (all dates).

The band's new single "Memories" recently topped Billboard's Adult Pop Songs radio airplay chart.
