Selena Gomez Thanks Fans, Admits it 'Feels Good to Be Back' Following 2019 AMAs Performance

Gomez also revealed a new thigh tattoo.

Selena Gomez took to Instagram on Sunday (Nov. 24) to thank fans for their support following her comeback performance at the 2019 American Music Awards.

"Feels good to be back," she captioned a photo showing off her lime-green Versace minidress and chic shoulder-length bob from the AMAs red carpet. "Thank you to my entire team and to my fans that stand by me. All of this is for you and because of you. excited for this chapter."

Gomez opened the broadcast with a dual performance of her new singles "Lose You To Love Me" and "Look At Her Now," marking her first live TV performance since the 2017 AMAs two years prior.

In a separate post, Gomez gave fans a peek at her preparation for the awards show, revealing a brand new tattoo on her upper thigh. The ink, which the singer got at New York City's famed Bang Bang Tattoo, depicts a pair of hands encircled by a rosary while in prayer.
