Selena Gomez Celebrates Her First Billboard Hot 100 No. 1: 'This Song Has My Whole Heart'

Selena Gomez earned her first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 today (Nov. 4) with her single "Lose You To Love Me," which leaped to the peak from its No. 15 debut spot last week.

Gomez posted about her excitement on her Instagram story, after songwriters Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter tagged her on their own.

"WHAT?! Omg!! Thank you SO much @billboardcharts for a first for me!! I'm so grateful," she captioned the screenshot of the original Billboard article. "Thank you guys for streaming and committing to this song! It means the world to me! This song has my whole heart." Gomez also shared a heartfelt post to her Insta feed.

The singer has appeared on the Hot 100 over the last decade, and "Lose You To Love Me" is the first leader she's ever scored, with "Same Old Love" and "Good For You" feat. A$AP Rocky coming close at the No. 5 spot in 2016 and 2015, respectively.

"Lose You To Love Me" also gained the No. 1 spots on the Streaming Songs and Digital Songs Sales charts this week (dated Nov. 9).
