Ava Max dropped the video for her song "Freaking Me Out" on Thursday (Oct. 31).

Directed by Edgar Daniel, the spooky video stars Max, with a lantern in hand, wandering the halls of a haunted house. As she sings lyrics like "Now I hear sounds in the hallway/ Rocking chairs are moving on their own," she dances and fittingly, a rocking chair moves as if a ghost was sitting in it. The pop singer is then chained to the wall in what appears to be a dungeon, while a man watches her.

The song, which was released in July, details Max's fear of falling for someone and the unfamiliar feelings that come with being in love.

"Freaking Me Out" is the singer's third video this year, following her latest single "Torn."
