Cailin Russo has unveiled the haunting music video for her new single "Declaration" today (Oct. 25).

"Have you ever done something really bad?" the singer asks while lounging in bed before the track's thudding bass line kicks in.

In the clip, Russo finds herself bathed in eerie green light while caught in a bathroom shower stall. "This is the declaration of a f--k up/ And in the end, I don't know how to change/ And I don't expect a single teardrop/ Whoa, I am ashamed," she intones over fuzzed out guitars as she's covered in gooey black tar seeping from the showerhead.

"Declaration" serves as the first taste from Russo's upcoming solo project.

“I’ve been working for a year getting these songs to a place to share with the world," Russo tells Billboard. "I can’t wait to hear what fans think of this chapter. This project is super intimate and I just hope it speaks to whoever needs to hear it.”

"Declaration" follows "Phoenix," the 2019 League of Legends World Championship theme song that the rising pop star recorded in collaboration with Against The Current's Chrissy Constanza.
