Liam Payne Teams Up With A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie on Club-Ready 'Stack It Up': Listen

Liam Payne’s got money on his mind. On Wednesday (Sept. 18), the former One Direction-er dropped his latest single, “Stack It Up,” featuring A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.

Co-written by Ed Sheeran, the bouncing track finds Payne spelling out his dreams and ambitions -- literally -- over steel drums, finger snaps and the urban pop sound that's become his signature.

“So if ya wanna/ Stack it up, man you gotta work for it/ (I-I-I-I-I-I)/ Ain’t nobody gonna be doin’ it for ya/ (I-I-I-I)/ I got dreams and I got time/ But that ain’t enough to get me by/ So I stack it up, man I gotta work for it/ Yeah I got money on my mind,” he croons on the song’s chorus before handing the reins over to Boogie for a name-dropping feature filled with luxury brands from Lamborghini to Louis Vuitton and Celine.

“Stack It Up” follows Payne’s French Montana-assisted single, “First Time” off his debut solo EP of the same name, as well as “Polaroid,” his 2018 collaboration with Jonas Blue and Lennon Stella. The new track’s music video is set to premiere at 4 p.m. EDT/1 p.m. PDT on YouTube.
