Joji is ending the summer with his chill new track “Breathe.” A collaboration with longtime DJ Don Krez, the atmospheric new single was released Thursday (Sept. 12) on streaming platforms and will be featured on next month's Head in the Clouds II, the second 88rising collective album.

According to a statement from 88rising, “Breathe” is a song “about love, lust and missed connections,” reflecting end-of-summer emotions.

“I wanted my fans to have a song before the summer ended - one that is fun and free,” said Joji.

“We started working on this track a year and a half ago,” said Don Krez. “Joji agreed to be apart of a project I was working on and ‘Breathe’ was born. I love this track because the production complements Joji in an amazing way. It’s been a long ride until the release as we worked on different versions, getting the right vocals. ‘Breathe’ is finally here."

Head in the Clouds II is set to be releaesd on Oct. 11 and is the sequel to July's first 88rising album, Head in the Clouds.
