Lana Del Rey covers Ariana Grande's "Break Up With Your Girlfriend" in the BBC Live Lounge.

Grande has since given the cover her stamp of approval.

Lana Del Rey dropped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge on Monday (Sept. 9) to chat about her new album, Norman Fucking Rockwell, and deliver a stirring cover of Ariana Grande’s “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored.”

Seated backwards in a rolling chair and rocking a bouffant-inspired ponytail, the star imbued Ari’s No. 1 hit with breathy vocals and her characteristic cool. Before breaking into the song, LDR told host Clara Amfo that the song was just one of several Grande hits she could’ve covered in the set.

“I thought about sending her a screenshot of a list of preferred covers I was sent, which had about seven of her songs on it,” Del Rey said about her fellow pop star, “so she wouldn’t just think I was a mega-fan.”

Grande later responded to the cover, sharing her praise for LDR. "I love u so very very much," Grande gushed.

In the coming weeks, the two singers are set to release their collaboration with Miley Cyrus for the upcoming Charlie’s Angels reboot starring Kristen Stewart and Elizabeth Banks.
