Congratulations, Taylor Swift!
The pop superstar's latest album, Lover, has officially hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and, as expected, her fans are taking to social media to celebrate the joyous occasion.
Lover marks Swift's sixth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart and has the biggest sales week for any album since her 2017 release, reputation. Lover earned 867,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending Aug. 29, according to Nielsen Music.
Shortly after the exciting news was announced Sunday morning (Sept. 1), Swifties around the world came out of the woodwork on Twitter, posting celebratory memes and words of congratulations for the pop superstar.
Perhaps one of the more touching posts was a fan who tweeted, "I already bought all four versions of #lover for me and my brother but he wanted to take some pics with the display this time :)" The tweet included a photo of the smiling fan posing next to a Lover display stand at Target.
