Taylor Swift Reveals She Sings Live in 'Cats,' Spills 'Lover' Secrets in New Interview: Listen

Taylor Swift stopped by the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show in New York City on Friday morning (Aug. 23) following the release of her latest album, Lover.

While on the show, she and Duran talked about Cats, the Tom Hooper-directed film where Swift plays Bombalurina. The "Me!" star revealed that she sings live in the movie, via Duran.

They also chatted about the album, of course, and went into depth about the songs "Cornelia Street," "Death By a Thousand Cuts," and "The Man."

"Cornelia Street" is "about the things that took place and the memories that took place on that street...all the nostalgia," Swift said, noting that it's the only song on the album she wrote alone.

Swift also talked about her collaborator Jack Antonoff, saying, "He's one of the most amazing people to create with because of his versatility."

Last month, the trailer for the film was revealed, where fans were able to sneak a first look at Swift in character. "I am a cat now," Swift wrote when sharing the trailer.
