Just days after announcing her split from husband Liam Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus was back on her grind.

Cyrus posted a picture from the studio on Monday morning (Aug. 12) in which she is standing in front of a microphone while wearing headphones and a white tank top, looking off to the side.

The image did not have a caption, but a source close to the singer tells Billboard that "Miley is focused on finishing her album."

In May, Cyrus announced that her upcoming seventh studio album will be called She is Miley Cyrus, and that it would be made up of three six-song EP, the first of which, She is Coming, dropped on May 31.

Cyrus has been mostly quiet since the news broke on Saturday (Aug. 10) of her split with her husband of less than a year," writing, "Don’t fight evolution, because you will never win," alongside a photo of herself in Italy on Instagram Sunday.

"Like the mountain I am standing on top of , which was once under water , connected with Africa , change is inevitable. The Dolomites were not created over night, it was over millions of years that this magnificent beauty was formed. My dad always told me “ Nature never hurries but it is always on time”.... it fills my heart with peace and hope KNOWING that is true. I was taught to respect the planet and its process and I am committed to doing the same with my own ...."

Hemsworth broke his silence on the split on Tuesday (Aug. 12), writing on Instagram, "Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward. This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false."
