Lizzo Celebrates 'Truth Hurts' Hitting Hot 100's Top Five: 'I Love U So Much Y'all'

Lizzo performs on stage on Day 8 of Roskilde Festival on July 6, 2019 in Roskilde, Denmark.

Lizzo officially has a top five hit -- and she's excited, y'all.

Shortly after news broke Monday (July 29) that Lizzo's smash hit "Truth Hurts" moved up one spot from 6-5 on the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Aug. 3), the singer-songwriter-flautist couldn't help but tweet about it.

"I OFFICIALLY HAVE A TOP 5 RECORD OMG JESUS CHRISTMAS I LOVE U SO MUCH YALL," Lizzo wrote. She also took to Instagram to share her excitement, throwing out a few of "OMGGGGGGGs" and one more "I LOVE U" for her fans.

Along with her Hot 100 achievement, Lizzo's "Truth Hurts" also reached new peaks on this week's Streaming Songs and Radio Songs charts, hitting No. 5 and No. 7, respectively. And just one week prior, Lizzo celebrated her first No. 1 on the Rythmic Songs chart (dated July 27). "PERMISSION TO FREAK OUT !!!!!!!!!!!" she wrote on Instagram, along with a few champagne bottle emojis, of course.

Lizzo will resume her Cuz I Love You Tour on Sept. 7 in New Orleans. Most dates are (unsprisingly) sold out, but take look at her full list of tour dates here.
