Why is Ariana Grande hanging out in a "haunted hotel" in San Antonio, Texas? According to production duo Michael "Mikey" Foster and Charles "Scootie" Anderson -- aka Social House -- there's a "huge possibility" that it's because she's recording vocals for their upcoming EP.

The pair, who have been opening for Grande on her Sweetener World Tour, spoke to Beats 1's Travis Mills on Monday (May 20) in a video chat that included a cameo from Ari.

"Hello, it's Ariana Grande," she said to Mills while hanging in the background near a microphone while wearing headphones. "We're recording vocals in a haunted hotel room!" That was all we saw of Ari, but the pair, who are on tour with Grande now after co-producing the singer's smash "Thank U, Next" single, said their single "Haunt You" is their most meaningful yet.

"We themed our EP and our album off a relationship and it has a hint of the issues that go on in the relationship like sometimes your insecurities," Foster said. "How you may have something beautiful and this amazing thing or person that you love, but sometimes you feel insecure because you might not be good enough, you might want to be better for them."

At press time it was unclear what song Grande will appear on. "There's a huge possibility that you'll hear Ariana's vocals on our album," Foster teased.
