Jonas Brothers Give an Emotional Glimpse of Their 'Second Chance' as a Band in Documentary Trailer: Watch
Grab your tissues: The trailer for the Jonas Brothers' documentary Chasing Happiness has arrived.
The sibling trio has said that their doc -- which arrives on Amazon Prime June 4 -- will uncover the untold story of the JoBros, from their band's 2005 inception to their 2013 breakup to their 2019 reunion. As the trailer teases, the guys look back on with sit-down interviews ("We started to write on our own ... overnight we're a band," Joe recalls) and home videos from their childhood, recounting the ups and downs that led them to their whirlwind success.
After the Jonas Brothers' father lists some of their most impressive achivements from their Disney days, the trailer then turns on the heartbreak as the guys detail their split. "There were moments I thought, 'They'll never speak to me again,'" Nick admits before shots of their separate lives (Nick's solo career, Joe with DNCE, Kevin with one of his daughters). But it quickly turns to positive experiences that ultimately led to their reunion as a band, from falling in love -- yes, all three "J Sisters" appear in the trailer -- to reconnecting by traveling the world together, with Nick declaring "I really want to have a second chance with them."
Though the trailer is only 2 and a half minutes long, fans will likely get teary-eyed from the throwback footage as well as clips of their brotherly bonding trips to places like Australia and Cuba. But Kevin is the one who brings the most feels: "It wasn't about the money, it wasn't about the fame. It was, 'Hey brothers, do you want to do something awesome again together?'"
