Lana Del Rey Covers Sublime's 'Doin' Time': Watch a Preview

On Tuesday (May 7), Lana Del Rey gave fans a sneak peek of her covering Sublime's 1997 single "Doin' Time," which interpolates the George Gershwin classic "Summertime."

The "Summertime Sadness" singer took to Instagram to share a snippet, which shows off her dreamy and smooth vocals. The post features an accompanying clip that shows Del Rey mouthing along to the cover with the caption "coming soon."

Del Rey's upcoming album, Norman Fucking Rockwell, is expected to drop this year, but an official release date has yet to be announced. In the past year, Del Rey has dropped three singles that will likely appear on the Jack Antonoff-produced album: “Mariners Apartment Complex,” “Venice Bitch” and “hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have -- but i have it."
