Watch Lady Gaga's 2019 Met Gala Transformation

One outfit was not nearly enough for Lady Gaga at Monday night's (May 6) Met Gala, so she wore four at once and revealed them as she walked the carpet.

The singer, who was one of the co-hosts of the extravagant fashion event alongside Harry Styles, emerged in an enormous, billowing hot pink gown with a long train, trailed by an entourage of umbrella-holding men as she batted her long, golden eyelashes.

The handlers helped spread her train across the steps before she stripped it off to reveal a black gown with an asymmetrical neckline, which gave way to a body-hugging long pink strapless dress and then, finally, just a sparkly bra and underwear set with tights and her signature sky-high heels.

CNN shared a video of the grand entrance, which shows Gaga being led past the barrage of photographers shouting, "Gaga this way! Gaga this way!" as she silenty strikes a series of poses and makes surprised faces. The crowd can be heard yelling "Gaga! Gaga!" as the singer undoes her pink hair bow and an assistant unbuttons and unzips her first look to the sound of "oohs" and "ahhs." That one doesn't last long, though, as Gaga makes another surprised face to accompany the third outfit, fluffing up her cleavage for maximum effect while cradling a gigantic old-school cell phone and slipping on big, bejeweled sunglasses.

The silent screen actress pantomime continues with a quick re-application of lipstick and hair spray as Gaga makes her way down the steps for the final, most revealing reveal, which causes an eruption of screams and whoops from the crowd while she poses with a pink Haus of Gaga wagon loaded with fancy bottles of champagne. The spectacle ends with Gaga slipping on two handfuls of rings for a group shot with her glam team and one last dramatic series of provocative poses on the steps.
