It's been a week since Kelly Clarkson had surgery to remove her appendix after the "Broken & Beautiful" singer hosted the 2019 Billboard Music Awards and the recovery has not been easy. After hosting the show like a champ despite being in a tremendous amount of pain during the broadcast, Clarkson gave fans an update on her health on Sunday evening, and let's just say it's been rough.

"Quick recap... recovering after surgery super duper sucks," she wrote. "Turns out I don't 'rest' well (so bored), pain meds make me feel a different kind of horrible 2 where I question if I'd just rather feel the pain instead." And, not for nothing, two out of the three resulting scars are making her feel like "Lord Voldemort is always near."

While Clarkson was resting up after surgery, fans could still hear her in the UglyDolls movie, in which she appears along side Nick Jonas, Janelle Monae and Bebe Rexha.
