Wallows perform on The Late Late Show with James Corden on March 21, 2019.

Wallows took to stage Stage 56 on Wednesday night (March 27) to perform their brooding single “Are You Bored Yet?” with some special help from Late Late Show house band leader Reggie Watts.

Beginning their set with a shot of the cool-hued stage from an 80’s vintage TV set, singer and 13 Reasons Why star Dylan Minnette sang the mellow tune’s introspective lyrics while his bandmates gently swayed behind him providing mellow backup. Watts then stepped down from his perch on the side of the stage to join the crew on the second verse, wearing a multicolored print blazer and round sunglasses. The singer/comedian/improvisor grasped Minnette’s extended hand at center stage, adding some of his signature falsetto to the pop-rock track.

“'Cause we could stay at home and watch the sunset/ But I can't help from asking, ‘Are you bored yet?’/ And if you're feeling lonely you should tell me/ Before this ends up as another memory,” they duo sang in harmony on the chorus.

The Wallows, which also includes guitarist Braeden Lemasters and drummer Cole Preston formed when the trio were children and performed together under various names over a decade before releasing their first single in 2017, "Pleaser." The group's debut album, Nothing Happens, was released last week.
