The Minneapolis Timberwolves have celebrated Prince’s life and influential music career throughout the season, and their latest homage to the late Minneapolis superstar is an exclusive giveaway for fans.

In a press release on Tuesday (March 19), the team announced that they will be giving away an exclusive, collector’s edition, seven-inch vinyl track of Prince’s 1995 song “Rock and Roll is Alive! (And it Lives in Minneapolis).”

In partnership with the Prince Estate and Sony Music, the Timberwolves will give away the single to fans attending the team's Apr. 5 game vs. the Miami Heat, containing the track celebrating the late singer's beloved hometown.

The announcement comes as the final Prince-Inspired City Edition night are approaching. Earlier in the season, the Wolves debuted new stylish, purple jerseys created to honor Prince’s “love of basketball and the city’s love of the legendary artist.” Nike created the special gear in celebration of the “community, people and culture of each NBA city,” according to the Wolves’ press release.

Additionally, the Wolves made each City Edition night a Prince-centric affair, with halftime performances (by Prince-associated artists including Sheila E., Liv Warfield and Morris Day, among others) as well as a Prince-focused soundtrack at the games.
