The Jonas Brothers Parody 'Year 3000' in Epic 'Late Late Show' Segment: Watch

The Jonas Brothers threw it way back to their 2006 “Year 3000” banger on Tuesday night’s (March 5) The Late Late Show -- only this time, they got a visit from host James Corden, who’d instead come from the “Year 2019.” The brothers and Corden then rocked the late night show with hilariously updated lyrics.

Kevin, Joe and Nick opened the skit with spot-on versions of their 2006 looks in the basement setup: Kevin sported mullet-esque hair and a bandana around his neck; Joe revived his dark, spiky hairdo and wore a Pac-Man T-shirt over long sleeves, and Nick brought back his full, curly head of hair and vest.

They then began to “rehearse” the pop-rock banger and seamlessly substituted the lyrics, which originally followed the story of a man who built a time machine and came back from the year 3000. This time, “a dude with a British voice” (spoiler: it's Corden) came from 2019 to tell them what to expect in 13 years -- including the Kardashian takeover, President Trump, Apple watches, the flossing dance craze, “box-office champ” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and so on.

Although the whole spoof was noteworthy, memorable lines include: “You won’t believe who the new president is/ It’s the guy who host The Apprentice, it’s pretty weird, super weird,” “We thought the future would be the best, so what’s new with Kanye West?” and “You can filter any photo/ Look I’m a dog, a sexy dog.”
