Jonas Brothers Talk Comeback Single 'Sucker,' What Led to Reunion: Listen

'Family is our favorite F word,' Nick Jonas said in the interview.

It’s been a busy 24 hours for the Jonas Brothers, who just announced that the band’s back together again.

The JoBros went on SiriusXM’s Hits 1 radio show on Friday morning (March 1) to talk about the long and sometimes bumpy road that lead to their reunion, as well as the extravagant new music video for “Sucker” that features their show-stealing significant others.

While sitting down for the Morning Mash Up, they talked about the “many conversations” that lead to their reunion, while confirming that they were indeed filming a documentary about their lives and careers, due to come out “later this year.”

“We started making a documentary about a year and a half ago, which was really meant to just be about our childhood, our story while we were working together and then our lives now,” the youngest Jonas said. “What happened though, is we started spending a lot of time together and I think we all kind of felt that there was a magic and there is a magic when we’re together that we really missed.”

With some brotherly-banter throughout the interview, the trio also talked about their surprise new song and music video for “Sucker,” with appearances by glamorously-costumed Danielle Jonas, Priyanka Chopra-Jonas and Sophie Turner (who Nick said call themselves “the J sisters”).

He then added that the cool part of this next chapter in their lives is that, “Family is our favorite F word.”
