Bea Miller released a new synth-pop track featuring 6LACK, “It’s Not U It’s Me,” on Friday (March 1).

“It's not you, it's me, I'm the only one I need/ It's not you, baby, 'cause I'm leaving you for ms/ I don't want you blaming yourself, It's bad for your health,” Miller sings on the chorus. 6LACK mirrors Miller’s energy, rapping, “You are not the one I wanted/ And I started feeling haunted by me/ 'Cause I know now what I wanted is peace of mind/ It's not you, I figured I'm done wasting time.”

The song was co-written by Miller, 6LACK, Justin Tranter and Mary Weitz and produced by Mike Sabbath (Liam Payne, J Balvin).

The singer-songwriter explains in a statement that the song is about working on oneself before trying to help someone else. “There will always need to be compromise, but this song is about crossing the line between helping someone else, and hurting yourself, and recognizing that when you can’t be who you’re supposed to be around a specific person, it’s time to prioritize yourself,” Miller says.

Miller's Nice To Meet You tour kicks off on April 23 and will make stops in Chicago, Toronto, NYC, Atlanta, Los Angeles and more.
