The band's last album "Gone Now" was released in June 2017.

Jack Antonoff confirmed Thursday (Feb. 28) that a new Bleachers album is slowly taking shape.

Responding to a fan’s inquiry about the possibility of new music, the “I Wanna Get Better” singer tweeted, “i’m working hard. have a few songs that i love and are part of B3. have this idea in my head and piecing it together ... strange puzzle Zz strange desire etc.”

Since the indie-pop act’s last album in 2017, Antonoff has continued building his impressive resume as one of pop music’s most in-demand songwriters and producers, contributing to Lorde’s Melodrama, Taylor Swift’s Reputation and Lana Del Rey’s upcoming Norman Fucking Rockwell. He also won his fourth Grammy Award earlier this month for his work as co-writer on the title track of St. Vincent’s Masseduction.

As for Bleachers, the band most recently contributed lead single “Alfie’s Song (Not So Typical Love Song)” to the soundtrack for big-screen gay teen romance Love, Simon, which Antonoff also executive produced.
