John Mayer Announces North American Summer Solo Tour: See the Dates

John Mayer announced North American concert dates for his 2019 World Tour on Monday morning (Jan. 28).

The Grammy Award winner will launch his world tour in March, beginning in New Zealand and Australia. He’ll then kick off the 27-date North American leg of the summer tour in Albany, New York, on July 19 at the Times Union Center, with stops in Toronto, Nashville, Chicago, Dallas, San Diego and more.

The “Evening With John Mayer” concerts will feature two sets that will cover his music career so far, including hits “New Light,” “Gravity,” “Love on the Weekend,” “Heartbreak Warfare,” “Daughters,” “Waiting on the World to Change” and “Your Body Is a Wonderland,” according to a statement. Mayer will be hitting the road fronting Dead & Company for the fourth consecutive year, joining Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart, as well as Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti.

Tickets for Mayer's solo tour will go on sale beginning Feb. 1 at noon through Ticketmaster, with presale tickets available on Jan. 29 at 10 a.m. Additionally, American Express card members can purchase tickets beginning Jan. 29 through Jan. 31.

For every North American concert, there will be two pairs of front row tickets -- each with a preshow meet and greet with Mayer -- auctioned off, with all of the proceeds going to benefit the Back to You Fund, and other associated charities.
