Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas took to Twitter on Thursday (Jan. 24) to show love for Weezer’s new covers album -- specifically, the band's take on TLC's 1999 hit "No Scrubs."

The rock band surprised fans first thing Thursday with the release of The Teal Album, which features covers of rock and pop hits spanning multiple decades. Artists getting the cover treatment include Michael Jackson, Black Sabbath and a-ha, as well as Weezer's previously released hit remake of Toto's "Africa."

Chilli was excited by the honor and tweeted a link to a 45-second clip of the cover. She also suggested a future concert with the band was in order, tweeting: "This #NoScrubs cover by @Weezer is AWESOME!!! but it would be even better if we sang it with ya'll!!! I see a TLC Weezer concert coming up..lol."

It looks like fans may get to experience this magical mashup in person. Weezer responded, quote-tweeting Chilli and asking, "Hope you want our number."
