Betty Who has always been an advocate for love and acceptance, but her latest music video may be the most striking reminder of that yet. The singer-songwriter develops feelings for an alien-like creature in her vid for "I Remember" -- premiering on Billboard below -- ultimately showing fans that beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder.

The video documents how Betty's extraterrestrial lover won her over (a flash-mob dance and flowers, of course) and a friend's wedding that didn't quite go as planned thanks to some blue alien goo. While the concept may seem a bit strange, it all stems from Betty's past experiences that left her feeling like an outsider.

"There have been countless times in my life in relationships where I feel like an extraterrestrial," Betty admits to Billboard in a statement. "Coming from such a different family life than somebody else, and having different core fundamental ideas about life and what you need in a relationship -- it can be so confusing and impossible to work through. So we went kind of literal with the video: Someone can be from literally a different planet and ruin your friend's wedding, but that doesn’t mean you love them any less.”

"I Remember" is a track from Betty Who's forthcoming third album, Betty (due Feb. 15), which marks her first LP as an independent artist. She's been performing the song during her opening set on Panic! at the Disco's Pray for the Wicked Tour.
