On Monday (Jan. 14), Ariana Grande dropped the first video teaser for her upcoming song "7 Rings," which is set to release on Friday. The teaser, posted on Grande's Instagram, is bathed in pink light and features the pop star and handful of her friends dancing in various scenes straight out of a classic hip-hop video, surrounded by cars, hotels, bottles and graffiti.

Before the teaser, Grande posted a series of still photos seemingly from the video set. The women in the video are likely the same six women she gifted a ring to, in addition to one for herself, hence the "7 Rings" of the title. Grande told fans via Twitter last month that she gave the rings to "Vic, Courtney, Alexa, Tayla, Njomza and Kaydence."

There were two references to "7 Rings" tucked into the blockbuster music video for her No. 1 smash hit "Thank U, Next." First, "7 Rings" appeared on the license plate of her black Porsche in the video's Legally Blonde spoof, as well as the video intro beginning with the "7 Rings" instrumental.

Watch the teaser for yourself below, and hear the full song (and maybe see the full video) on Friday.
