Welcome back to Takeover Tuesday, where each week, Billboard taps chart-topping artists and tastemakers to compile their very own playlist exclusive to Billboard's Spotify account. We give the artists free rein to base the list on whatever subject they choose. The only rule? Make it as creative and unique to them as possible.

RÜFÜS DU SOL always have their ears open for the next best sound. The trio, consisting (Jon George, Tyrone Lindqvist and James Hunt) have been carving a name for themselves with alternative dance tracks like “Treat You Better” and “Underwater,” meshing together soft, introspective lyrics with electronic synths and dancehall beat drops. The Australian band recently released their third studio album, Solace, on Oct. 19, which was honored as No. 1 on Billboard Dance's 10 Best Electronic/Dance Albums of 2018 list.

Fresh off of their Solace Tour, which wrapped in Europe on Dec. 8, RÜFÜS DU SOL shared a playlist of songs from their ten favorite up-and-coming electronic artists who they believe are gearing up for big things in 2019. Two of their picks, Lastlings and Cassian, impressed RÜFÜS DU SOL so much, they signed the artists to their own label, Rose Avenue Records.

“All these artists are pushing the envelope with production and melody to create music that occupies a unique sonic space,” RÜFÜS DU SOL tells Billboard. “Some of these are club weapons, while others are slower more melodic journeys based on a singular feeling. These are some of our highlights from 2018, excited to see the artists make their next moves in 2019."
