Bastille and Marshmello perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Marshmello and Bastille stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to perform their chart-topping single “Happier” on Tuesday (Dec. 11).

The duo behind the melancholy electro-pop song took the stage to perform their smash hit. Bastille’s frontman Dan Smith, backed by Marshmello’s infectious beat, delivered the emotional lyrics in front of projected psychedelic graphics of Marshmello's trademark smile.

In their uplifting performance, Marshmello and Smith encourage the audience to clap and sing along and touchingly embraced each other at the end of the song.
