Ed Sheeran Says BTS 'Might Be Messing With' a Song He Wrote: Watch

Is an Ed Sheeran x BTS collab in the works? The 27-year-old Brit says it’s a possibility.

In a new video from UK entertainment outlet heatworld shared yesterday (Nov. 19), the "Shape of You" singer-songwriter answered "the Internet's rhetorical questions," including one that led to him saying that the chart-topping South Korean septet may be considering working on one of his songs.

"I actually wrote a song that I think they might be messing with," Sheeran responded to Twitter user @moonchildontcry's tweet that read: "I want BTS x Ed Sheeran but when will they ever."

Sheeran continued his train of thought, and gave his thoughts on the band. "I heard this the other day. But, yea, I don't know,” he said. “I really like BTS, though. I think they're really great."

Though there's no word from BTS' camp re a potential collab with Sheeran, it wouldn't be the first time the group worked with a popular British songwriter: Conor Maynard co-wrote album closer "Answer: Love Myself" on BTS' Billboard 200 No. 1 album Love Yourself: Answer, released in August.
