Mike Posner to Play Hometown Halftime Show at Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Game
Mike Posner is set to headline the halftime performance during the Detroit Lions’ Thanksgiving day game against the Chicago Bears on Thursday.
The 30-year-old “I Took a Pill in Ibiza” singer will continue the tradition of big acts at the Lions’ holiday game, with Jason Derulo previously lighting up the stage in 2017 and Andy Grammer having done the same the year before. Additionally, the late Aretha Franklin smashed the national anthem in 2016 while Big Sean commanded attention with his “One Man Can Change the World” and “Blessings” halftime performance in 2015.
Posner -- a Metro Detroit native himself -- released the lead single “Song About You” from his upcoming studio album in September. His yet to be named full-length release is set to debut early next year.
