Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry attend the Gala for the Global Ocean hosted by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco at Opera of Monte-Carlo on Sept. 26, 2018 in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.

What's Katy Perry's secret to making her relationship with Orlando Bloom work? Balance.

"He's always trying to get me to hike, yoga, eat vegan," Perry told Entertainment Tonight in a video interview with fellow American Idol judge Luke Bryan. "I'm like, aghhh!"

Indeed, Bloom has apparently been trying to incorporate more healthy habits into their lives. "Katy's like, 'I'll hike to Taco Bell; with ya," Bryan joked. "I sure will!" Perry said. "Crunchwrap Supreme, extra meat, extra onions." Bryan also admitted that his fitness habits and physique could not compare to Bloom's.

"There's a balance," Perry continued. "I think when you're attracted to someone, it's sort of like how opposites attract. I'm looking for that balance and maybe he's looking for...I'm such a multitasker."

Meanwhile, American Idol is keeping Perry busy these days. "This season of American Idol people are taking us seriously," she said. "And with that, a lot of amazing talent. Talent I think that should already be signed or have record deals...they're showing up for us."

American Idol will return on ABC in 2019 with host Ryan Seacrest and judge Lionel Richie alongside Perry and Bryan.
