Ariana Grande's signature high ponytail is a look that not just anyone can pull off -- not even Camila Cabello, apparently.

On Sunday (Nov. 4), Cabello and Grande shared a little Twitter banter about the special kind of torment that comes along with pulling hair back that tightly.

"I just did a high ponytail for the first time and it is literally pulling on my BRAIN ITS SO PAINFUL HOW DO YOU DO IT @ArianaGrande," Cabello tweeted at the "Thank U, Next" singer.

"well u actually have hair so that prolly makes it a lil more painful," Grande said. "nah jk i’m in constant pain always and don’t care at all."

Cabello then employed a play on Grande's latest song release, writing: "I had to take it off #thankunext."

Meanwhile, Grande kept on with her self-deprecating humor. "awwww so happy for u, u still feel things," she joked. "MUST BE NICE *crying and smiling*."

Back in June, when Grande was newly engaged to her now former fiancé Pete Davidson, she and her "Never Be the Same" buddy joked about their own impending divorce. "KEEP THE RING, IM TAKING THE CANNOLIS (who’s keeping the dogs tho?)" Cabello tweeted at her at the time. They're back to calling each other "wife," so it seems their relationship has rekindled.
