The wait is finally over. After teasing the imminent arrival of her newest single, "Armor," earlier this week, Sara Bareilles delivered on her promise on Friday (Oct. 26) and unveiled a lyric video alongside the new track.

"Armor" sees Bareilles returning to her piano for an empowering ballad. She starts off by discussing the Bible's shaming of Eve before encouraging women to find strength and solace in one another.

The accompanying video for the track is remarkably diverse, showcasing women from every race, age, size, and those with disabilities, showing off the traits that make them unique. The video also serves as a lyric video, as all the woman have a cue card that follows and corresponds with the lyrics of the song.

"Armor" is Bareilles' first offering since 2015's Waitress soundtrack. Though there is no official release date, Bareilles has promised fans that an album is on the way soon.
