Zara Larsson debuted a catchy new track titled “Ruin My Life” on Thursday (Oct. 18), and followed it up with a stunning video on Oct. 23. The song is the 20-year-old Swedish pop singer’s first off her upcoming third studio album.

The Swedish singer-songwriter serves a series of fierce looks in the video, which she stars solo in. "This video means so much to me!!" she wrote in the comments section. "I’m so excited to finally be able to ruin your life!"

Larsson's voice comes off bright on "Ruin My Life," and is accompanied by an electric guitar and keyboard that lead into a chorus swimming with synths and a danceable drum track. “I want you to ruin my life/You to ruin my life, you to ruin my life, yeah/I want you to fuck up my nights, yeah/ Fuck up my nights, yeah, all of my nights, yeah,” she sings during the refrain.

Larsson initially previewed the song during an invite-only show at Sony Hall in New York City Sept. 11, and confirmed its future release via Twitter on Sept. 23. “'Ruin My Life' is a song about that unhealthy relationship that everyone has at one point in their life,” Larsson explained. “It’s toxic, but it’s passionate.”
