Savoir Adore 'Bloom' On First Half Of Dreamy New Album: Exclusive

Savoir Adore have unveiled their electro-pop record First Bloom, premiering exclusively on Billboard today (Oct. 18). The six-track project is the first half of an album titled Full Bloom, which is due in the spring of next year.

Inviting the listener into a synth-filled sonic head trip, First Bloom marks the first tracks by members Paul Hammer and Lauren Zettler as permanent musical partners. The album explores the undeniable chemistry between the duo and their aptitude for pairing velvety beats and feel-good melodies.

Both Hammer and Zettler offer vocal performances that are smooth as silk. With songs like "Slow Motion" and "Satisfied," the pair explores glitchy vibes accentuated by their vocal synergy.

On the record's first track "The Hum," Savoir Adore contemplates the gleam that comes from the creation of something genuine. "'To us, it's a perfect opening statement. 'The Hum' can mean many things," the duo tells Billboard. "It's a spark that is created when something really special happens, whether it's a connection with someone else, or balance within yourself. It's almost supernatural, but it's also something we're in control of. It's the sound of the energy that lives in everything, waiting to be heard."

Savoir Adore will also embark on a small run of tour dates in support of the project; fans can expect new visuals and other experimentation from the band's new live show.

Listen to Savoir Adore's First Bloom below one day early, and check the band's tour dates after the jump.
