Bruno Mars celebrated his 33rd birthday on Monday (Oct. 8) like most people would: with a serenade from Ed Sheeran and a shout-out from pal Missy Elliott.

Okay, so maybe Bruno's b-day was a bit blingier than most, but what do you expect from the Grammy-winning superstar? Case in point, Mars shared an Instagram video in which he's chilling in some Versace while wearing a golden birthday hat and eyeing a giant pile of cupcakes that spell out "BRUNO."

Oh, and as he's cutting into the treats, the camera zooms over to Sheeran, who is singing "Happy Birthday" to his pal. "Happy Birthday to you/Happy birthday to two-time-Super-Bowl-performing-Bruno/Happy birthday to you," Sheeran sings while strumming his trusty acoustic. As the camera pans out, Mars, feeling regal, cuts into his pile of sweets, hits a glass with his knife and shouts, "Again!"

Mars is nominated for favorite male artist -- soul/R&B, favorite song -- soul/R&B ("Finesse"), tour of the year and collaboration of the year for his Cardi B hit "Finesse" at Tuesday night's (Oct. 9) 2018 American Music Awards.
