Nonprofit group Fuck Cancer has announced the celebrity lineup for the inaugural Barbara Berlanti Heroes Gala, which will take place at Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles on Oct. 13. Pop star Ariana Grande and Broadway favorite Kristin Chenoweth are set to perform at the event, as well as comedian Jeff Garlin and surprise guests.

This isn’t the first time Grande and Chenoweth are supporting a cancer-fighting cause, being that the disease has affected both their lives. Grande’s aunt and grandfather, and Chenoweth’s mother and aunts, have all experienced the damaging effects of cancer.

Actor Stephen Amell, who portrays Oliver Queen/Green Arrow in The CW series Arrow, will also be given the hero award for raising funds and creating awareness for the organization. Additionally, Fuck Cancer co-founder Yael Braun will be presented with the Barbara Berlanti Vanguard Award for supporting cancer warriors and educating influencers and young adults on the importance of early detection.

The organization, which endeavors to ensure patients and their families have the support they need, will use funds raised at the gala for programs created to provide resources and reduce cancer.
