Selena Gomez Shares Giggly Studio Clip: 'Here's My New Record in the Making'

Her next album may be "done," but Selena Gomez is sharing some behind-the-scenes footage of her working on new music -- and it's only kicking up the anticipation for her most personal batch of songs yet.

Back in August, the pop star revealed that the follow-up to 2015's Revival was finished, and before that, she said that she's not "trying to throw a bunch of music in people's faces until I'm ready." Now, she's bringing Selenators into the vocal booth with her -- but she's not giving them a sneak peek of new tunes, just a brief moment of studio hijinx.

In an Instagram clip, Gomez -- wearing what appears to be a sweatshirt featuring the face of her namesake, Selena Quintanilla-Pérez --  is trying to belt a few bars while feeling a bit under the weather. She gets a little help from a pal at the mic, but she dissolves into a full-on giggle fit instead of recording the phrase.

We're sure she nailed it eventually, but who knows -- maybe the new album will feature some laughter caught on tape.

Watch Gomez recording (and laughing her way through recording) some new notes below.

Here’s my new record in the making lol (while I was sick) --
