Pale Waves cover "One Kiss" by Calvin Harris and  Dua Lipa in the Live Lounge for BBC Radio 1.

Indie pop band Pale Waves took to the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge for a cover of the Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa hit "One Kiss" on Tuesday (Sept. 18). The original peaked at No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Pale Waves' take on the song doesn't feature the same steady, upbeat vibe from the original recording. The cover is much more synth-heavy, with the end result lending itself to more of a rock jam of sorts rather than a chart-breaking hit.

The rendition from the England-based quartet comes a day after the release of the band's new video for "One More Time." In it, lead singer Heather Baron-Gracie visibly struggles to cope following the end of a relationship.
