Paris Jackson revealed that she underwent surgery on Friday (Aug. 10) to remove an large abscess before performing a set with her new band, The Soundflowers, the next day.

“So long story short, I had surgery yesterday,” the 20-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson said on Saturday, in a video posted on her band’s Instagram story. Jackson added that she had “an abscess that was almost the size of a golf ball," telling her followers that if an abscess pops, “you can go septic and die. But I didn’t die. They operated immediately.”

“It was definitely the most pain that I’ve ever been through in my entire life,” she said.

Things seemed to have gone well at the show on Saturday, as her grandmother, Katherine Jackson, 88, attended the concert and gave her stamp of approval.

"F--k. I can't believe my grandma made it to our second live show ever," Paris Jackson captioned the video clips of her band's performance on Instagram. "And she actually liked it!?!!! I was s--tting my pants. I love you so much, grandma. I'm so happy we got to play for you and to play for such an incredible cause. @thesoundflowers @canyonsessions @austinbrown #fcancer."

The concert took place as a fundraiser for the organization F--- Cancer.
