Why Don't We Announce Debut Album '8 Letters,' Unveil Cover Art & Title Track

Rising pop group Why Don't We have announced the release of their highly anticipated debut full-length album 8 Letters.

After teasing fans about a "huge announcement" earlier this week, the boy band took to Twitter on Wednesday (Aug. 8) to share the album art and release date for 8 Letters, which will arrive on Aug. 31. Along with the exciting news, the guys released the title track, a heartfelt piano ballad to follow the previously released, more upbeat album cuts "Talk" and "Hooked."

Just days after the album's release, Why Don’t We will bring some of the new tracks to the Today show plaza in a special Labor Day  performance on Sept. 3. The appearance follows Why Don't We's eagerly anticipated tour of Asia, which kicks off on Aug. 18 in Tokyo and will hit Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, China, Taiwan, the Philippines. Why Don't We will even visit Australia for a two-day stint, which includes their Aug. 31 8 Letters release.

October will then see Why Don’t We set off on an epic European tour, with stops scheduled for Spain, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, and the United Kingdom, leading up to a giant finale at London’s famous Eventim Apollo Hammersmith on Oct. 25. It won't be long before American and Canadian fans get to see 8 Letters performed live either, as Why Don't We also promises a headlining North American tour will be announced soon.
