Twitter Reacts to Lady Gaga's Las Vegas Residency Announcement

For the last year, fans have been patiently waiting to hear news about Lady Gaga’s highly-anticipated Las Vegas residency. The star finally announced on Tuesday (Aug. 7) that she would be taking up a two-year residence at the Park Theater in the Park MGM Resort starting in December 2018, along with other details.

Gaga revealed that her show will be titled Enigma, with regularly-scheduled pop performances through the end of 2019, along with a number of limited “piano & jazz” engagements, where the star will sing stripped-down covers of her own music, along with classic song standards. Tickets for the show go on presale Wednesday, Aug. 8, with the general sale starting on Monday, Aug. 13.

Naturally, fans of the pop diva are beyond excited. Some joked about not being able to pay for the steep ticket price, some praised the neon-colored announcement artwork, and others speculated whether or not the title of her show is offering any hints for her upcoming studio album, referred to by fans as “LG6.”
