Lady Gaga Announces Launch Date For Las Vegas 'Enigma' Residency
The MGM Park Theater series will be split between Gaga's pop tunes and 'Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano' sets.
It will be a very joyous holiday season for Little Monsters, now that Lady Gaga has announced that her anticipated Las Vegas residency at the MGM Park Theater will kick off on Dec. 28.
Gaga finally revealed the dates for the shows on Tuesday morning (Aug. 7). They will be split into two different performances in the intimate venue, one entitled Lady Gaga Enigma and the other Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano.
Enigma is described as a "brand-new odyssey of her pop hits built as an experience unlike any other," while Jazz & Piano will be feature "stripped-down versions of her hits as well as music from the Great American Songbook. “I can’t wait to share ENIGMA with all of my fans and with Las Vegas," Gaga said in a press release announcing the dual series. "We’re creating a show unlike anything I’ve done before. It will be a celebration of all that is unique and different within us. The challenges of bravery can be overcome with creativity and courage that is grown out of adversity, love and music.”

"Working with Lady Gaga and her team has been a career highlight for me," said Bill Hornbuckle, President of MGM Resorts International, in a statement about the shows, which will kick off in late 2018 and stretch through late 2019. "What she is planning for Las Vegas audiences is nothing short of spectacular. Welcoming her into our family will firmly position Park MGM as the city’s most exciting new destination.”
The MGM shows will mark Gaga's return to the stage after she was forced to cut her Joanne world tour short in early 2018 due to complications from fibromyalgia. Gaga will appear in the upcoming Bradley Cooper-directed remake of A Star is Born (Oct. 5)
